Clinical Coordinator - RMH@Home Acute

  • Fixed term position - Part Time & Full Time hours available

RMH@Home acute provides staff with the unique opportunity to practice independently whilst having a dedicated medical team who also visit our patients in their home. 

 

Working in a team of Coordinators alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, Medical Team, and the Clinical Development Nurse. Overseeing a large team of advanced practice nurses to facilitate outcome focused models of health care for patients and carers.

 

Your new role

  • Initiate, participate in and/or facilitating nursing research.
  • Contribute the development of all staff including new and casual staff to the area.
  • Perform Nursing interventions and procedures in accordance with Melbourne health policy and procedures.
  • Maintain an understating of individual responsibility of patient safety, quality and risk and contribute to organizational quality and safety initiatives.

  • Excellent clinical skills
  • Comprehensive previous experience in acute care
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated autonomous practice with efficient time management skills
  • Advanced understanding of HITH procedure and hospital access
