Clinical Nurse Educator – Nurse Resource Transition Pool (NRTP) / Nurse Bank

  • Opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Nurse Educator team
  • Working across all wards at Royal Melbourne Hospital City and Royal Park campuses
  • Part-time (0.6 - 6 shift/fortnight), 12-month fixed term position available

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated individual to join our Nursing Education team. As a part of the NRTP Education team, you will work together to provide clinically based education, supervision and support to learners and staff of all levels.

This is a leadership position where you will work in collaboration with the clinical area management and multidisciplinary teams to deliver nursing education initiatives and support to ensure a high standard of safe, effective and timely person-centred care to our patients.

About you:

  • Extensive nursing experience in specialty, or transferrable skills and a demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, willingness to embrace new ways of learning
  • Ability to provide mentoring and leadership in the clinical area
  • Experience providing staff, graduates and students with clinically-based supervision and training in accordance with RMH policy and procedures
  • Experience in the delivery of Entry to Practice and Graduate Programs, as well as a willingness to support the development and implementation of RISE and Postgraduate programs to staff within the clinical areas
