Administrative Assistant - Clinical Engineering

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Clinical Engineering Department is responsible for the whole-of-life asset management for medical devices across Royal Melbourne Hospital campuses and satellite sites. The service employs 20 staff in various roles including leadership, engineering, and technologist roles.

 

About the role


The Administrative Assistant will provide accurately and timely support primarily to the Clinical Engineering Manager and other staff in the leadership group. You will:

  • Assist with diary management
  • Co-ordinate meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Process documents and complete data entry
  • Collect data & generate data for reports and management.
  • Provide excellent customer service when answering calls and queries
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of admin processes

About You

 
You are an admin superstar with:

  • Excellent time management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to triage, prioritise and action competing demands
  • High level computer skills, including proficiency in the Office suite programs
  • An enthusiastic approach to your work and colleagues
