EMR Revenue Analyst

  • Full Time Fixed Term position
  • Based at Jane Bell House, North Melbourne
  • Salary packaging options + monthly ADO + 5 weeks Annual Leave

The EMR Revenue Analyst will support realisation of direct financial EMR benefits, support all key stakeholders to maximise charge capture, monitor EMR charge capture stakeholder participation, provide education and training in EMR functionality and contribute to the ongoing development of Patient Fee Revenue activities. 

Your new role

  • Develop a knowledge and practical understanding of RMH’s obligations under the National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA) to ensure compliance for Medicare Funded activity.
  • Develop an approved action plan to improve billing practices and revenue flow that encompasses people, processes and technology
  • Report on EMR Charge Data participation 
  • Provide ongoing education and training in regard to EMR Charge Data capture workflows

About you

  • Bachelor degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management or relevant Business discipline
  • Commitment to live the Melbourne Way - putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and other digital health solutions
  • Understanding of Charge Data translation to Revenue
  • Knowledge of Patient Fee Revenue arrangements on Victorian Public Hospitals
