- The Centre is one of 5 global WHO Influenza Reference Laboratories that analyses influenza viruses and helps with the recommend of influenza vaccine compositions

- Better understand the evolution of the virus and to prepare for future pandemics
About Us:
- WHO Collaborating Centre for Influenza analyses influenza viruses in human populations worldwide and provides data for WHO’s seasonal influenza vaccine recommendations.
- The team also conducts research, training, and capacity-building related to influenza both nationally and within the WHO South East Asia and WHO Western Pacific Regions.
- We are a small and welcoming team that values collaboration both internally and externally with World Health Organisation Centres globally.
Your New Role
- Extract and compile data from Centre databases for reporting
- Compile and prepare reports to meet Centre KPIs – reports and work plans to Centre funding and governance bodies
- Design and compile reports and newsletters to partner laboratories
- Maintain records and upkeep databases of Centre staff activities, Centre visitors, grants, and Centre publications
- Maintain and regularly update content on the Centre’s website and social media
Your Contribution
- Excellent written communications and organisational skills, attention to detail
- Understanding of data structures and data analytics
- Understanding of database design principles, as well as data collection and extraction.
- High competency with MS Office suite – all programs (including Access, Publisher)
