Your new role:
- Engage with consumers to provide individualised therapeutic interventions and information, to support consumer’s awareness of options about care and recovery
- Provide assessment and planning to meet the needs of consumers and their family/carers
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to share of knowledge of individual’s needs and challenges, to support a team approach to care and planning
- Promote and contribute to the activity and participation program by co-facilitating activities with consumers which support their recovery
About you:
- Proven clinical ability with knowledge of professional supervision and practice based research
- Demonstrated capacity and initiative to work with limited direction
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate and communicate with staff and other service providers
- Ability to provide high quality education in Psychiatric Nursing to student nurses
