Enrolled Nurse

AC4 is a 25 bed ward providing specialist care to both general GEM patients as well as Dementia specific GEM patients within a secure, safe environment. The ward boasts a dynamic multi-disciplinary team comprised of medical, nursing, occupational therapists, social workers, dieticians and physiotherapists as well as access to a regular education in-service program in conjunction with our supportive Clinical Nurse Educator.

 

Your new role

  • Perform nursing interventions and procedures within scope in accordance with Melbourne Health policy and procedures.
  • Participate and cooperate in consultative process to improve the health and safety and reduce risk to the safety and well-being of staff.
  • Comply with requirements of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary health care team to achieve the desired patient outcomes 

About you

  • You are an AHPRA registered Enrolled Nurse with ward experience and are willing to work on a rotating roster, within our supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
  • You have acute/sub-acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style.
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
