The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

The Melbourne Health Security team services all of Melbourne Health sites however is primarily the City Campus, the Royal Park Campus and the Broadmeadows Inpatient Unit under North West Mental Health.

Your Opportunity:

• Responsible for the security of staff, patients, visitors, buildings and hospital assets located at any Melbourne Health Facility
• Primarily located at Royal Melbourne Hospital of both the City and Royal Park Campus as well as the North West Mental Health facility at Broadmeadows inpatient unit
• Work at any site governed under Melbourne Health Security

About You:

• Professional personal presentation
• Positive attitude
• An eye for detail
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• The ability to work unsupervised
• Flexibility with regards to shift patterns
• A current vehicle licence
• A current Level 3 Security Licence
• Previous experience in a hospital setting and basic computer skills would be an advantage
