Position: Accounts Payable Officer - Matermity Leave 12month contract

 

Location: Royal Melbourne Hospital (Royal Park Campus) Parkville

 

About the Role:

 

Our client, a leading public health service provider is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their organisation on a 12 month fixed term full time basis fulfilling a maternity leave vacancy.

 

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end AP function across the group whilst providing quality service to internal and external stakeholders within a shared services environment.

 

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and working in a high volume and fast paced shared services environment, your key responsibilities will include will included but not limited to:

 

  • Managing assigned accounts payble processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Reconciliation of complex supplier accounts on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring accurate, timely and consistent follow up of any issues.
  • Timely batching, auditing and processing of vendor invoices using Oracle financials
  • Responding to suppliers inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Ideally you will have prior experience in an end to end high volume accounts payable role within a large shared service organisation. Relevant computer proficiency with exposure to Oracle financials will be highly regarded as will excellent communication and time management skills. 

 

Equally important, the successful candidate will enjoyn working as part of a dynamic team and display a strong and professional work ethic.
