- Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Melbourne Health Share Pathology Service – Chemical Pathology Department
- Full Time Fixed Term from 25 June 2018 until 3 August 2018
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Scientist Grade 1 to work in our Chemical Pathology Department. Your duties will be to perform biochemical analyses using a wide range of automated instrumentation and a limited range of manual testing as well as undertaking specimen registration and pre-analytic processing, and other related duties as required.
The successful applicant will have completed a Bachelor’s degree in science or applied science and experience in a tertiary hospital biochemistry laboratory is essential.
You must be available to participate in out-of-hours shifts in a structured roster that includes regular evening, weekend and night shift work and be available to travel to all sites of Melbourne Health Shared Pathology Services Group.
