Grade 2 Physiotherapist

Acute Orthopaedics/Musculoskeletal

  • Full time, Fixed term until mid 2022, 80 hours per fortnight with ADO
  • Rotational Physiotherapy Position in inpatient orthopaedics (including SSU, trauma and surgical) and musculoskeletal outpatients.

Your Opportunity

 

Sitting within the acute orthopaedics team this role will support our acute services at city campus.

This position will provide the successful applicant opportunities to gain experience working in a well-supported multi-disciplinary team environment with a wide variety of conditions including complex trauma, emergency, and surgical patients. Starting in acute inpatients, this role involves the provision of physiotherapy service, supervision and education of student and junior physiotherapists and will be a member of our supportive team of Senior Clinicians, with significant opportunities to grow in acute orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, and primary contact physiotherapy clinical skills. This clinician will be expected to contribute to the quality and research portfolio within the team.

 

About You

  • Excellent physiotherapy assessment and treatment skills and the ability to manage a variety of complex patients in acute orthopaedic patients.
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Able to contribute to the strong research portfolio within the team
