• Grade 1 Social Worker (Full Time Fixed Term) 
• Full Time fixed term, 80 hours per fortnight including ADO

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We have a significant opportunity for an experienced Grade 1 Social Worker to join our Social Work team. Whilst this is a rotational position across multiple acute and subacute clinical areas, the first rotation for the successful applicant will be within the General Medicine team. 

Your Opportunity:

As the successful applicant, you will have sound communication skills and demonstrable experience of effective working relationships within interdisciplinary teams.

The Social Work Department has a well-established supervision program and supports ongoing professional development for all staff.

As a Grade 1 Social Worker, through your clinical expertise you will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in patient care, implementation and organisation of clinical and professional teams and foster staff development.
