The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Clinical Assistant team. This is a Casual position, based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

 

Your Opportunity:

 

The role of the Clinical Assistant is to provide support services to clinical staff in the wards and departments of the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

 

As a Casual Clinical Assistant you are a vital member of the multi-disciplinary health care team who strive to provide excellent care to patients and their families. Your interactions with patients, relatives and colleagues are guided by the organisation’s values of patient centred care, trust and respect in an environment which continuously identifies opportunities for improving the quality of patient care.


About You:

  • Good understanding of health care cleaning standards
  • Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accept direction
  • Initiative in prioritising workload
  • Be reliable, self-motivated and have a friendly nature
  • Roster flexibility
