Grade 2 Podiatrist

Fixed Term, 64 hours
Melbourne Health is an award winning health care service and is Victoria’s second largest public health service. We provide comprehensive acute, sub-acute, general, specialist medical and mental health services through both inpatient and community based facilities through the following services: The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus, The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Royal Park Campus, North Western Mental Health, RMH Kidney Care Service and Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Podiatrist to join our progressive health care team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City and Royal Park Campuses in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity. This role includes providing podiatric service within the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) Diabetic Foot Unit in our partner organisation community health services.
To be successful:
The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of diabetes and wound management, the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and be registered to practice in Victoria. Previous experience in the hospital sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

Interview process:
• Applicants must be available to undergo a two-stage recruitment process. Stage one is a brief telephone interview of shortlisted candidates. Successful candidates from stage one will be invited to attend a stage two face-to-face interview at The Royal Melbourne Hospital
