About the position:
Boyne Russell House is a 30-bed high level care facility situated in Brunswick. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Housekeeping Staff to come and work with us.
The Housekeeping Staff is multi-skilled whose role includes meeting the residents’ needs in preparing, handling and distributing meals and refreshments, completing menus, ordering stock, dishwashing, cleaning of kitchen facility, collection and disposal of waste, laundry service and providing cleaning services to the facility.
Essential:
- Food Safety Certificate
- Ability to read and write English
- Computer literacy
- Ability to manage time and priorities efficiently and work under pressure
- Well-developed communication skills including a confident, friendly manner
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
Highly desirable:
- Previous experience working in the Aged Care sector in the provision of Hospitality service
- Commitment to working with the elderly residents with varying physical and mental conditions
