Advertisement text North Western Mental Health (NWMH) provides a comprehensive, integrated range of services to people with a serious mental illness in North-Western Melbourne. A multi-disciplinary workforce of 1,800 staff provides services through four Area Adult Mental Health Services (North West, Mid West, Inner West and Northern), an Aged Persons’ Mental Health Program and a Youth Mental Health Service – ORYGEN Youth Health. NWMH is a clinical service of Melbourne Health and operates in partnership with Northern Health and Western Health. Full Time Position - Entry Level, Grade 1 Position • 12 Month Developmental Role • Rare opportunity to work as a new graduate in an Acute Mental Health setting North West Area Mental Health Service - Broadmeadows Psychiatric Acute Inpatient Team About the Role: North West AMHS inpatient service provides quality mental health services to adults with, or at risk of, a serious mental illness who require assessment and treatment. An opportunity exists for suitably qualified new or recent graduate, client and family focused occupational therapist to join this dynamic team. This position will be based at our Broadmeadows Health Services. This innovative and exciting opportunity provides the ideal opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to springboard their career into public mental health. The position is tailored to ensure working as part of a Multi-disciplinary team approach and a focused in-depth training program will be made available, ensuring this position will be a rewarding one.
