Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing: Renal stream

 

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals interested in completing the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (GCCN) Renal course to join the Royal Melbourne Hospital Renal specialty team. This is a Part Time - Fixed Term position, working 64 hours per fortnight.

 

The Royal Melbourne Hospital renal service is the largest comprehensive renal service in Victoria and is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to further your specialty nursing skills through Post Graduate study. We provide an integrated renal disease, dialysis and transplant service with a strong commitment to improvement through research and innovation.  We are the largest Victorian transplanting service. 

 

Applications are now open for the (Renal) Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing program. The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing is conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, Australian Catholic University. This course is open to Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program.

 

About the Program: 

  • The course consists of four (4) subjects specific to the area of study undertaken.

  • All four subjects are delivered online and supplemented by a variety of teaching modalities, including lectures, tutorials and clinical hurdles.

  • Post-graduate students are supported by Clinical Nurse Educators and clinical staff.

  • Program length varies from twelve (12) to twenty four (24) months.
