In this role, you will work closely with the Learning Infrastructure team to support development and maintenance of online learning, with a key focus on partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Learning (Instructional) Designer to join our Learning Infrastructure team. This is a Part Time, Fixed Term position, working 48 hours per fortnight, based at Royal Melbourne Hospital city campus (Jane Bell House)
Your Opportunity:
- The purpose of this role is to coordinate key Learning and Development programs and projects and to design, deliver and evaluate a range of internal learning solutions to meet identified needs as aligned to strategic priorities.
- A key focus on this role will be to partner with SMEs to define learning needs and develop learning solutions across clinical and non-clinical areas that are accessible, relevant and dynamic; with a key focus on upskilling SMEs in the technological development and delivery of online learning
- Project manage the review of existing online learning, working with identified SMEs to ensure that learning is contemporary.
About You:
- Qualifications in Human Resources/Business/Educational or Instructional Design; or requisite experience in learning design, such as eLearning creation/coordination
- Well-developed skills in the design, development, facilitation and evaluation of learning and development programs based on sound adult learning principles and instructional design theories.
- Experience working with SMEs to design, develop and evaluating eLearning packages
- Experience designing and developing e-learning material in Articulate Storyline or equivalent software
- Experience developing to, and supporting a LMS such as Moodle.
