Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing 


New in 2021 the Royal Melbourne Hospital will be affiliating with the University of Melbourne (UoM) to deliver the Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing. This course will provide you with a sound understanding of the theory and scientific advances that underpin the comprehensive care and management of people affected by cancer. You will apply this knowledge to clinical practice, demonstrating the ability to competently care for patients with complex care requirements using evidence-based approaches.

 

Applications are now open for the Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing. The Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing is conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, UoM. This course is open to Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program.

 

About the Program:

  • The Graduate in Cancer Nursing is a 50 credit point, part-time, clinical coursework program of one year's duration. 
  • Subjects are delivered through a variety of teaching modalities, including lectures, tutorials, clinical simulation and online study. 
  • Assessment consists of essays, hurdle requirements, online quizzes and closed book tests.
