Your Opportunity: 
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Diagnostic Haematology Laboratory – Haematology in a Part Time Fixed Term –32 hours per fortnight capacity.

  • As a key member of our team you must have a passion for Haematology and pride yourself on quality and service excellence in laboratory testing.
  • Haematology is a busy, modern laboratory performing a range of diagnostic and research investigations – including for the haematology and bone marrow transplant units and many tertiary patient referrals.
  • The appointee will have previous diagnostic laboratory experience and work as part of a committed team who share responsibility for the daily activity in this section.

About You:

  • Relevant previous Haematology / Blood Transfusion - Laboratory experience essential for this position.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with other health professional.
  • High level of reliability and professional conduct.
