Clinical Nurse Educator (Grade 4B)

 Full Time (including ADO) limited tenure

8th May 2017 to 6th May 2018

The Clinical Nurse Educator role is paramount to the support of nursing staff in the clinical area. Clinically based in the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department, as part of Critical Care and Investigative Services, this important role will be primarily responsible for anticipating and responding to the developmental needs of nursing staff, including Graduate Nurse Program (GNP) participants, postgraduate nursing students, and enrolled and registered nurses in pursuit of quality patient care.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with extensive nursing/education experience in the emergency clinical environment to join our dynamic nursing education team based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus in a full time limited tenure capacity. 

A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing is essential for this position.  An education qualification or working towards will be highly regarded.
