We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. This is a Part Time Fixed Term position, working 16 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus.
Your Opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to assist in research activities in Lung Cancer for the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Attendance at clinical activities such as the Lung Cancer Weekly Multi-Disciplinary Meeting is essential. Patient Liaison is required for entry into research projects and to collect follow-up data. Assistance in writing for publications is desired, as well as the preparation of presentations for conferences and lectures.
- Database development
- Data entry
- Sourcing of patient information including demographics, radiology and pathology reports from medical records
- Collection and maintenance of a research reference library of publication in the relevant medical literature
About You:
- Basic computer and database skills
- Time management and communication skills
- Advanced computer programming skills
- Experience in writing scientific papers or presentations
