Advertisement text • Part Time • City Campus - Parkville • Salary Packaging and other great benefits About the Role The Emergency Department Assistant provides clinical support services to all members of the multi-disciplinary Emergency Services team. Your role is integral to the delivery of quality clinical care that is patient centred, safe and aligned to achieve patient flow within the service and achieve Emergency performance measures. The Emergency Department Assistant helps facilitate efficient patient flow through the Emergency Services to ensure patients are either admitted, discharged or transferred within 4 hours of arrival. Skills & Experience • Patient Services Attendant Certificate • Able to work well in a busy pressured environment • Strong oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated initiative and ability to prioritise • Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team. • Professional presentation and demeanour • Ability to work all shifts • Ability to fulfill responsibilities associated with helipad operations.
