The Allied Health Department at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is made up of a diverse range of disciplines including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics and social work. Supporting medical and nursing staff, our teams are integral to the multifaceted everyday operations of The Royal Melbourne across City and Royal Park campuses.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly efficient, ambitious, and capable Administrator to join our friendly Allied Health team based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and have a rewarding career in the health / hospital sector.
The role encompasses a broad range of individual functions that are essential to support the smooth running of the Allied Health department and its administrative processes.
In this role, you will build on your strong administrative skills by providing administrative and project support to our Director Allied Health and Allied Health Management team. Working in a fast paced environment, we are seeking the skills of a proactive, organised and committed team player, able to communicate well and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Key Accountabilities
• Compose correspondence, memos, divisional notices
• Development of presentations, meeting agendas and papers
• Maintaining effective record keeping systems
• Organising events and functions
To be successful, you will have
• Exceptional Presentation and a professional business attitude
• Highly developed administrative skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, and a task focused approach
• Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
