Mental Health Occupational Therapist Educator

  • Full Time - 80 hours including ADO
  • Provide leadership and support for Occupational Therapists working in mental health
  • Located at Pascoe Vale South Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL)

The Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL) is the central agency for public mental health workforce development (including lived experience workers) in Victoria.

We are a diverse, values-based team, supporting each other to deliver relevant and quality driven learning and workforce development activities for the mental health workforce. 


Your new role:

  • Provide leadership and support for statewide co-ordination, orientation, and supervision of graduate Occupational Therapists
  • Support supervision practice, ensuring that the Allied Health Supervision Framework is implemented within OT through the review and development of current clinical supervision training programs
  • Provide leadership and visioning for future Occupational Therapist workforce learning and development
  • Contribute to the achievement of CMHL’s overall objectives/deliverables

About you:

  • Passionate and committed individual who values collective contribution and works from a values-based and strengths approach
  • An approved Degree from a recognised school of Occupational Therapy or other qualifications approved for eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapy Victoria
  • Minimum 7 – 10 years' experience working in clinical public mental health services
  • Successful experience in leading projects, teams, service development
