The Inner West AMHS – RMH provides mental health services to consumers residing and working in the Cities of Melbourne and Moonee Valley, in the Inner North West of Melbourne. The catchment area offers several unique features which provide opportunities in the area of service provision, new mental health care initiatives and research opportunities.

The clinical programs provide a range of services to a broad range of consumers, including people with mental illness who are homeless and those who present with significant forensic histories.

This part-time (14 hours per week) Consultant Psychiatrist position provides clinical leadership to the program and, in partnership with other staff, contributes to the development of high quality, recovery-focused care, to achieve best outcomes for consumers and their carers.

The successful applicant will have:
• extensive clinical experience and tertiary qualifications in psychiatry
• a demonstrated capacity for clinical leadership
