About the Role:


The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) Translational Research Laboratory is a Royal Melbourne Hospital research laboratory located in the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. We are focussed on biomarker identification and translational research primarily in the areas of haematology and oncology. We have an opening for a Research Technician to processes patient blood and tissue samples collected under ethically approved projects and clinical trials.


Essential Requirements for the Role:

- Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent with experience in clinical sample processing
- Experience in one or more fields of Immunology, Haematology or Oncology
- Excellent record keeping and computer skills
- Ability to prioritise workload within established policies, guidelines and procedures
- Capable of functioning semi autonomously as well as within a team
