Registered Psychiatric Nurse (Grade 2)

• Part Time Ongoing role - 64 hours per fortnight
• Based in Broadmeadows at Broadmeadows Hospital with Secure parking onsite
• Only a 10 minute walk to Broadmeadows Train Station and Broadmeadows Plaza

At Broadmeadows Aged Persons Mental Health Unit we will welcome you as part of a caring and innovative multidisciplinary team to work with older adults who are presenting with challenging and complex mental health needs. Broadmeadows Aged Persons Mental Health Unit is part of the Aged Persons Mental Health Program of NorthWestern Mental Health (NWMH).

About you:

• Experience of working with consumers with a mental health diagnosis
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• A team oriented nurse with experience in leading shifts and providing clinical leadership and support to staff
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and other staff members
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to problem solve in a complex and ever changing environment.
