The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. Your Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic podiatrist who wants to further develop their skills in wound and high risk foot care.
  • This interested and flexible person would be working across sub-acute (Royal Park Campus) and community health sites and would be expected to manage a case load of high risk patients.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to get a foot in the door to one of Victoria and Australia’s most robust and dedicated Podiatry Departments and Diabetic Foot Units.
  • This is a fixed term position with the preferred days being Monday, Tuesday and Friday however this may be negotiable for the right candidate.   

About You:

  • Applicants must submit one page cover letter with 5-10 dot points to indicate why and how you are prepared for a Grade 2 position at Melbourne Health. These can be related to professional, extra-curricular, educational or other relevant experience and must be specific.
  • Applicants must submit a two page resume outlining their professional history with professional referees.
  • Applicants must be available to undergo a two-stage recruitment process. Stage one is a brief telephone interview of shortlisted candidates. Successful candidates from stage one will be invited to attend a stage two face-to-face interview at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
  • A consumer may take part in face-to-face interviews.
