Registered Nurse - Acute Stroke & Neurology Ward 

  • Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ( min 3 years experience)

Your new team

The Acute Stroke and Neurology ward is a 31 bed specialist medical unit. We have 20 dedicated stroke care beds, 10 of these are cardiac monitored to a central station for our acute stroke care. 11 of our beds are for specialised Neurology patients. We are world leaders in Endovascular Clot retrieval (ECR), and see a multitude of patients with very rare neurological conditions.

This is a Part Time position, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville.

Your Contribution

 

We’re seeking individuals who have, effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.

Your acute hospital experience will provide you with the foundations for us to support you in developing your neurological nursing skills, with opportunities to undertake a Post Graduate studies if desired. 

 

You are an AHPRA registered Nurse with a minimum 3 years of ward experience and willing to work a range of AM/PM & ND shifts, within our supportive and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
