We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Genomic Medicine team on a Full Time position, Part Time applications will also be considered.
Your Opportunity:
The centre is a comprehensive genetic service providing diagnosis, counselling and support to adults with a variety of genetic disorders. Our services ensure that heritable factors are considered at every point of a patient's journey and take the opportunity to identify other family members at risk, making risk management strategies available. The Centre is also a hub for clinical and translational research projects.
The Genetic Counsellor will work closely with clinicians, other genetic counsellors and associate genetic counsellors to provide clinical genetic counselling services to patients and their families.
About You:
- Board eligibility in genetic counselling
- An understanding of the current genetic and psychosocial issues relating to familial cancer and adult genetics
- Demonstrate competency in managing complex work load with high level of accuracy
