The Acute Medical Unit is a unit where the patients are rapidly assessed and are admitted from the Emergency Department or direct from community services. We are a friendly, helpful and skilled multidisciplinary team. Medical specialities in the Acute Medical Unit include general medicine and respiratory.
Your new role:
- Work together to deliver high quality, best practice care to our patients
- A unit where the patient is the centre of our team
- Covid-19 Screening Beds
- Diverse patients and medical histories
About you:
- Patient focused
- You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
- Utilise best practice guidelines to deliver patient centred care
- Able to display respect, kindness, compassion to colleagues, patients/families/carers
- Motivated and passionate about working at the RMH
- Able to demonstrate sound clinical skills
- You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
