Your Opportunity:

  • There is currently an exciting opportunity to work with the Radiology front line management team at RMH with the development of a Grade 3 rostering Radiographer role.
  • This new fixed term position will initially be for a 10 month trial working 3 days per week (48 hrs per fortnight).
  • The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a roster that meets the needs of a multi-modality 24/7 operating service ensuring the correct skill mix of staff is in place providing optimal service delivery.
  • The role will also monitor and maintain leave entitlements ensuring departmental and award conditions are met.
  • In addition the rostering Radiographer will assist with the implementation and ongoing use of the Roster on system.

The RMH Radiology Department is one of the most highly regarded medical imaging sites in Australia. It is recognised for its high standards and the quality of staff employed. The department is fully equipped with state of the art equipment and over 120 highly trained Radiographers and Sonographers.

 

Our focus is to provide good patient outcomes by providing a high level of patient care and outstanding imaging quality using state of the art equipment and highly trained staff.

 

The Radiology Department provides a 24 hour/7 day a week service, undertaking over 210,000 medical imaging examinations annually. Modalities include MR, CT, Ultrasound, General and Trauma Radiography (CR/DR), Theatre and Mobile Radiography, Angiography and Fluoroscopic procedures as well as Mammography.

 

About You:

  • The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of a multi-modality 24/7 radiology department.
  • Have good clinical acumen with excellent personal skills.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have experience or show a keen interest in rostering principles
