Outpatient Customer Service / Clinic Clerk

Your new team

 

With a team comprising of Nurses and Administration staff, together the Outpatients Team ensures safe, timely, and effective, person centred care to all Victorians. Our experienced staff will provide training in a variety of skills, including the use of our newly acquired precinct wide Electronic Medical Record.  The Outpatients department are active participants of the Safety Culture Program.

 

Your new role

 

You are a key member of the customer service team and responsible for the end to end administrative management of the patient's outpatient episode of care, including but not limited to:

  • Referral management
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Waitlist management and auditing
  • Phone, online and health hub enquiries
  • Front desk reception duties

About you

  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development
  • You have a minimum of 3 years administration experience
  • You have accurate data entry skills
  • You have previous experience, and preferably professional training, in phone manner i.e. call centre position
