Dietitian - Grade 4 ICU

  • Part Time Fixed Term 24 hours per fortnight
  • Key member of both Clinical team in Allied Health and the ICU clinical team
  • Demonstrated experience in Critical Care Nutrition

We provide care to our patients within the acute, subacute and community therapy services across all
speciality services. The department is supported by the Clinical Nutrition Managers and the department is committed to providing evidence based, patient centred care. Supervision and reflective practice, professional development, student teaching, quality improvement and research are a key focus of Clinical Nutrition at RMH.

 

The opportunity:

  • This is a Part Time Fixed Term position working 24 hours per fortnight.
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the wider Allied Health management team.
  • Develop new research ideas, contribute to multisite research projects present papers at relevant conferences and provide representation on RMH committees

About you:

  • You will have a leading role in ensuring the delivery of an excellent Clinical Nutrition Service in the Critical Care setting.
  • You will contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care by providing high level clinical advice and fostering staff development.
  • You will be required to possess high level clinical knowledge and experience in the area of critical care and parenteral nutrition.

  • Experienced in staff and student supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide expert clinical service and supervision.
  • High level planning and organisational skills.
