  • Key coordination role overseeing a large Echocardiography Program

The Cardiology Department at The Royal Melbourne Hospital includes a 33 bed Coronary Care Unit and Cardiology Ward, Cardiology Day Ward and 2 Cardiac Catheter Laboratories with plans to build a third Cardiac Catheter Laboratory.


We have a large Echocardiography Program for inpatient, outpatient and private patients and an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Cardiology Nurse to coordinate, procure and manage these programs. This role will be the key contact to oversee all programs and assist to develop strategies to improve the list management and streamline the program.


Strong communication skills are essential for this position as the role will be working in a multidisciplinary team of Administration, Cardiac Physiologists, Nursing and medical staff. The successful applicant will also be required to be proficient in IV cannulation.
