Full Time, Part Time and Casual position
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is looking for Theatre Technicians to work in the operating suite. The ideal applicants will have experience as a technician who can work across all specialties including Neurosurgery and complex Orthopaedics. The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of two major trauma centres in Melbourne and offers excellent opportunities to increase your skills.
The Successful Applicant will need to have:
- Demonstrated ability to practise collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated provision of high quality patient care
- High motivation and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to accept direction.
- Initiative in prioritising workload.
- High level of reliability and professional conduct
Experience as Theatre Technician prefered, however we are committed to supporting and developing our staff and offer assistance in gaining completion of a Certificate III as an Operating Theatre Technician.
