The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Imaging Department. This is a Part Time position, working 64 hours per fortnight, based at City Campus.

Your Opportunity:
The Radiology Department at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary referral service provided by Radiologists with subspecialty expertise.


The full range of diagnostic and interventional services is provided for inpatients and outpatients using state-of-the-art equipment. Diagnostic services include plain film radiography, mammography, colour Doppler ultrasound, CT, angiography and MRI. Interventional procedures provided include all vascular, neurointerventional, gastrointestinal, biliary and urological interventions as well as therapeutic embolisations and image guided biopsies 

We are a team that are passionate about caring for our patients providing innovative services and cutting edge research. 


About You:

  • A minimum of two years current acute clinical experience
  • Excellent clinical knowledge
  • High quality patient care
  • An interest in procedural based nursing
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multidisciplinary team collaboration
