  • Multidisciplinary position - Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 & Allied Health Grade 4 (Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) 
  • Full Time 80 hours per fortnight including monthly ADO 
  • Working hours Monday to Friday

The Aged Psychiatry Assessment and Treatment Team (APATT) is a multidisciplinary team providing community based mental health treatment and care to persons 65 years or over.


Our team has a recovery focus with clinicians working collaboratively with consumers and their families/carers to improve their mental and physical health and well-being in the community.


A Job To Be Proud Of: 

We are looking for a Service Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the operational, financial and clinical leadership of the Aged Psychiatry Assessment and Treatment Team (APATT).

  • Provision of quality consumer-focussed care
  • Develop services that respond to the needs of consumers, carers and staff
  • Workforce planning, performance review and management across the team
  • Ensure compliance with departmental and organisational KPI's.
  • Promoting and supporting professional development of staff.
  • Initiating, leading and supporting appropriate service improvement activities
  • Developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders and partners in care
  • Implementingdriving a quality process that meet applicable standards and KPI's
  • Managing Human Resource matters in relation to the APATT program

 Your Contribution:

  • Significant experience in management of health service delivery within aged care and/or mental health
  • Relevant qualification in health discipline recognised by relevant professional body
  • Current drivers licence
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level within a large organisation
  • Experience of working with consumers with a mental health diagnosis 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively 
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and other staff members 
  • An understanding of the policies and procedures associated with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation 
  • The incumbent may be required to undertake duties, at alternate work location within the Aged Persons Mental Health Service in response to operational demands of the Service
