The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Patient Experience team as an Administration Officer. This is a Part Time position, working 40 hours per fortnight.
Your Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative support for the RMH Consumer Liaison Service, as part of the broader Patient Experience Team.
- The Admin Officer is a primary point of contact for consumers / patients and other external stakeholders, as well as for hospital staff, and will demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions.
- You will maintain highly efficient office systems and processes, ensuring that all feedback is acknowledged, triaged, reviewed and responded to within defined timeframes.
- The role is office-based, and involves daily interaction with patients, consumers and staff

About You:
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective administrative support
- High level computer literacy and knowledge of relevant computer programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- High level organisational skills, with an ability to work under pressure and balance competing demands
