The CMHL Occupational Therapist Educator position will provide leadership and support for Occupational Therapists (and may also include support and advice to other staff supporting Occupational Therapists) working in Victorian public mental health services.

This role will be responsible for liaising with mental health services and other relevant stakeholders, building relationships, identifying and facilitating strategies that address Occupational Therapist workforce learning and development needs.

 

Your Contribution:

  • You will be a passionate and committed individual who values collective contribution and works from a values-based and strengths approach 
  • Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • An approved Degree from a recognised school of Occupational Therapy or other qualifications approved for eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapy Victoria
  • Minimum 7 – 10 years' experience working in clinical public mental health services
  • Successful experience in leading projects, teams, service development
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and/or demonstrated industry experience in designing and delivering training
  • Demonstrated experience of providing clinical supervision
