  • EMH Senior Clinician
  • Part Time ongoing 32 hours per fortnight - Rostered position
  • Three work locations with flexible work environments
  • Supporting Emergency Mental Health (EMH), Prevention & Recovery Centre (PARC) & MHaP

A Job to Be Proud Of:

  • Develop mental health treatment, management and risk assessment plans within the ED/PARC/MHaP and organise ongoing assistance before the client is discharged
  • Facilitate and encourage continuity of care processes between adult psychiatric inpatient/community, youth, aged care services the emergency department, PARC and Police
  • Provide ongoing assessment, psychosocial interventions for clients
  • Collaboratively provide education regarding the management of medication
  • Provide an enhanced Police and Area Mental Health Service capability to respond to incidents

Your Contribution:

  • Practice at an advanced level of clinical mental health nursing
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent including Board aapproved qualification
  • Registration as an enrolled nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Be capable of advanced decision making in collaboration with the ED team.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem solving and expert clinical judgement
  • Undertake operational leadership.
