Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency)

 

Applications are now open for the Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency) program. This program is conducted in collaboration with our affiliate university, The University of Melbourne (UoM) and is open to internal Registered Nurses who have successfully completed a Graduate Nurse Program and have a minimum of 24 months post registration experience.

 

To be eligible to apply you must be currently employed in the Emergency department at RMH.

 

About the Program:

  • The Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing (Emergency) is a 50 credit point, part-time, clinical coursework program of one year's duration.
  • Students typically take four (4) 12.5 credit point subjects across a year.
  • Subjects are delivered through a variety of teaching modalities, including lectures, tutorials, clinical simulation and online study.
  • Assessment consists of essays, hurdle requirements, online quizzes and closed book tests.
