Consultant Psychiatrist (Part time 0.5 Sessional)

A Consultant Psychiatrist vacancy exists which would be suitable for a recently graduated Psychiatrist or with some experience post -qualification.

The position is with North West Area Mental Health Service with opportunity to work in community and/or inpatient settings. Appointees would be required to provide high standards of clinical care and appropriate supervision of trainees and medical officers. Participation in the after hours senior roster and ECT roster is expected.

The Consultant Psychiatrist will work with the Clinical Director, senior management and teams to contribute to the provision of comprehensive, integrated psychiatric services to achieve best outcomes for consumers & their families. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to provide clinical leadership in a multidisciplinary team and a thorough grounding in both acute and community-based psychiatric programs.

Qualifications:
The applicant must have FRANZCP.
Specialist registration with Medical Board of Australia is also required.

Salary:
As per the Australian Medical Association Victoria Public Health Sector Medical Specialists Enterprise Agreement 2013
