MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONIST | ROYAL MELBOURNE HOSPITAL – ROYAL PARK CAMPUS | PART TIME POSITION About the Role: Melbourne Health is one of Victoria’s leading health care providers. Health Information Services (HIS) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital supports patient care by providing and managing clinical records and health information through its service wide systems and processes. The Health Information Services Medical Transcription Service has a vacancy for a permanent part-time Medical Transcriptionist who will be located at Royal Park Campus. Duties will principally be the typing of dictated outpatient letters. The successful candidate will be a flexible team player, have excellent attention to detail, demonstrated keyboard/data entry skills with strong organisational and interpersonal capabilities. Experience with Ozescribe dictation system would also be an advantage. They will also be able to work independently in a busy environment A comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceuticals is essential.
