The Diabetes Research Unit is a busy department that runs clinical trials for patients with a history of Diabetes and other Endocrine conditions.
The Opportunity:
The Office Assistant / Clerk will assist the Diabetes Research Unit with general office duties such as filing, mail outs/correspondence with clinical trial participants and relevant stakeholders (where appropriate) and forwarding of participant results and follow up telephone contact, under the supervision of the research nurses, as required.
The Office Assistant’s main tasks will be:
- Supporting the Diabetes Research Unit
- General Office Duties
- Filing source documents for clinical trials in patient medical histories and specific site files
- Photocopying and assisting in the transfer of trial documents for electronic medical record processing
- Forwarding participant results to relevant health care providers and assisting with confirming follow up appointments
- Perform mail outs and database maintenance as required
