Health Information Services Clerk
The Royal Melbourne Hospital City and Royal Park Campus
Fixed Term Part time, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s 11pm-7am (6 months fixed term)
About the Role:
Primary duties will include but are not limited to timely retrieval and delivery of medical records, filing, tracking, and assembly of medical records, Operate and maintain computerised health information systems, including the patient administration system (iPM), digital medical record system (including preparation for scanning, quality control and quality assurance of the system) and any other relevant system used by Health Information Services.
The successful candidate will be:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously
- Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective organizational and time management skills
Previous experience with working within medical records will be highly regarded.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
