  • 3 South West - General Surgery and Abdominal Trauma 
  • Opportunity to enhance your surgical experience
  • Part Time, 16 hours per fortnight
The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to develop surgical skills on a busy ward with lots of support. 3 South West provides an excellent learning opportunity to understand the care of surgical patients post elective and emergency general surgery. Support and training is provided. 3SW has an experienced team of senior nurses and educators.

About You:

  • Current APRHA Registration
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written 
  • Excellent clinical skills - at least 3 years recent acute care experience 
  • Committed nurse who has some surgical experienceExperience in other specialty fields such as palliative care and medical nursing would be welcome
  • Clinical skills but the ability to remain resilient in time of stress
