Mental Health Social Worker Educator, Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL)

 

  • Part time fixed term 0.4eft (ending Nov 2022)
  • Provide leadership and support for social workers working in mental health
  • Located at Pascoe Vale South

 

The Centre for Mental Health Learning (CMHL) is the central agency for public mental health workforce development (including lived experience workers) in Victoria.

 

We are a diverse, values-based team, supporting each other to deliver relevant and quality driven learning and workforce development activities for the mental health workforce. 

 

Your new role:


In collaboration with the current CMHL Social Worker Educator, this 0.4eft position will provide leadership and support for social workers (and may also include support and advice to other staff supporting social workers) working in Victorian public mental health services.

 

This role will be responsible for liaising with mental health services and other relevant stakeholders, building relationships, identifying and facilitating strategies that address social worker workforce learning and development needs. 

 

About you:

  • You will be a passionate and committed individual who values collective contribution and works from a values-based and strengths approach
  • Have an approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Minimum 7 – 10 years' experience working in clinical public mental health services
  • Successful experience in leading projects, teams, service development
  • A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and/or demonstrated industry experience in designing and delivering training
  • Demonstrated experience of providing clinical supervision
