Management of Clinical Aggression (MOCA) Coordinator

  • Part time - 2 days per week
  • based at Northern Hospital

About us:

Northern Area Mental Health Service provides a broad range of community, inpatient and residential mental health services to adults who reside in the Cities of Darebin and Whittlesea in partnership with the community.

 

About You:

  • Experienced registered psychiatric nurse, minimum 5 years post qualifying experience
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to improving safety in the workplace
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in supervision, conducting training sessions and facilitating groups
  • The position is although works with staff across our three sites.

About the Role:

  • Coordinate the Management of Clinical Aggression (MOCA) Program
  • Participate in an ongoing evaluation process in the acute and sub - acute setting
  • Support the coordination of education and training, in accordance NWMH policy and procedures
  • Coordinate the registration process that supports attendance to NWMH MOCA training
